Memories of war will always haunt…
The young are affected
The old are in pain
At the end of it all, What do we gain?
Freedom? No
Justice? No
All we are left with is
Pain…Death…Destruction…Hatred
War is not the answer.
Then what is, I ask?
Everyday, we walk around with a mask
Covering our own insecurities and fears
When in reality, all we do is shed endless tears…
